Manisha Jha, who was awarded a Marjorie Deane studentship for 2014/15, has accepted a job as a reporter for Bloomberg, in London. She was offered the post after earning a coveted spot on one of Bloomberg’s summer internship programmes. Manisha says:
“As a budding business reporter from India, getting the Marjorie Deane studentship to pursue a Masters in Financial Journalism in London was a life changing moment for me.
It bolstered my confidence, helped me to develop an international outlook, and made me more aware of my strengths and weaknesses as a reporter. The course helped me to land work experience with CNBC, The Leasing Foundation and the Financial Times.
