Adam Creighton, a foundation-sponsored intern at The Economist in 2009, recently picked up a prestigious Citi Journalism Award for Excellence. The awards, now in their 31st year, recognise the best business journalism in Australia and New Zealand.

Creighton, who works as Economics Correspondent for The Australian, was chosen as the winner in The Economy category, based on a series of articles he wrote for The Weekend Australian.
