The Marjorie Deane Financial Journalism Foundation aims to promote the understanding of financial markets and institutions, and in particular to foster excellence in financial journalism. Studentship recipients have some or all of their fees paid at prominent British universities leading to Master’s degrees. A number of studentship holders have gone on to careers in journalism, while others have become professors, taken jobs at central banks, joined consulting firms or pursued careers in other financial fields.
