New York University’s Business and Economic Reporting masters programme recently celebrated the graduation of eight students. Admitted in the autumn of 2020 during the height of the covid-19 pandemic, this cohort persevered through unprecedented challenges but succeeded in completing rigorous academic and professional training.
During summer 2021, these students landed impressive internships at publications including Reuters, the Financial Times, Forbes, CNBC, NBC News, Inc. and Coindesk. Students Doyinsola Oladipo and Krisztian Sandor were awarded fellowships from the Overseas Press Club, and Angélica Serrano-Roman was honored with a scholarship from the New York Financial Writers’ Association.
The programme also enrolled 15 new students in the fall 2021 semester.
